Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California, is the premiere university in the United States for the study of acupuncture and herbal medicine. Mr. Klimoski entered the five (5) year, intensive master's program, focusing on anatomy, the calming exercise regimens of Taiji, diagnosis and treatment, needle technique, pharmacology, massage and clinical research. The teaching staff had an extensive and varied background and had a profound effect on his learning experience. The professors included Eastern and Western medical doctors, Acupuncturists, Naturopaths, Chiropractors and others, some with over forty years of experience. This cross-section of the medical community resulted in an excellent educational experience in a variety of wellness settings.
